On an exciting evening in 1934 at the Grand Opera Company, the world’s most talented tenor, Tito Merelli, has arrived to perform Otello. Through a series of tranquilizers and confusions, Tito is mistaken for dead and the scramble ensues to find a replacement for the world-renowned performer. The misunderstandings and troubles of mistaken identity will keep you laughing in this delightful musical comedy.

Coming in May!

When your sister says, “I saw what you used to do in the barn,” you listen. When she says it from deep inside a coma, you really listen. A play about siblings who find a way to connect across the great divide of altered consciousness, this piece is about how they communicate beyond the mind and the senses; making it possible to dance, laugh, and say goodbye. NOTE - This production contains adult themes and strong adult language and is intended for mature audiences.

Hershey Area Playhouse is a true Community Theater.  Our directors, producers, actors, and people behind the scenes are local residents.

We are always seeking ways to provide high quality entertainment for a very affordable price.  However our ticket prices do not cover all of our operating expenses and we depend on additional support from our friends and neighbors who understand the value of having a local community theater and the opportunities it brings.
