The Fantasticks
Running February 12 2015 to February 22 2015

In a charming tale of love and deceit, two fathers pretend to feud to trick their children, Luisa and Matt, into falling in love. But when Luisa and Matt discover the truth about what their fathers have done, everything they know changes. Featuring music from Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, The Fantasticks is a wonderful show about romance and reality.


Lend Me A Tenor
Running April 16 2015 to April 26 2015

On an exciting evening in 1934 at the Grand Opera Company, the world’s most talented tenor, Tito Merelli, has arrived to perform Otello. Through a series of tranquilizers and confusions, Tito is mistaken for dead and the scramble ensues to find a replacement for the world-renowned performer. The misunderstandings and troubles of mistaken identity will keep you laughing in this delightful musical comedy.


Oliver!

Oliver Twist takes the stage in the musical interpretation of the Charles Dickens’ classic, Oliver! Follow the adventures of Oliver as he journeys from the orphanage to the streets seeking a place to belong.


The 39 Steps
Running October 8 2015 to October 18 2015

The 39 Steps is a hilariously funny thriller. It is best known as the 1935 film, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The theatre script has maintained its intriguing plot and film noir atmosphere, but added to the humor with imagination and wit. Four actors play over 100 characters during the show. Come see Hershey Area Playhouse perform this masterful and mysterious farce just in time for Halloween.


It's A Wonderful Life
Running December 3 2015 to December 13 2015

This heartwarming familiar play centers around George Bailey, a frustrated and desperate businessman. In his despair, an angel comes to rescue him by showing him what life would be like if he was never born. This play requires a full cast of adults and children ready to celebrate the positive message of the show and the Christmas season.


Charlie Brown Christmas
Running December 17 2015 to December 20 2015

This small musical mimics the television show with the characters we all know and love, like Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Snoopy. Will Charlie Brown find the true meaning of Christmas? The Playhouse will offer children the opportunity to play these iconic roles. Plus, The Playhouse is one of the first theatres in the area to secure the just-released license for this show.
