Hershey Area Playhouse Presents Lend Me A Tenor

Written by York, Pa., native Ken Ludwig, Lend Me A Tenor is set in September 1934 at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. The world’s most talented Italian opera tenor, Tito Merelli, has arrived to perform Otello. Through a series of tranquilizers and confusions, Tito is mistaken for dead and the scramble ensues to find a replacement for the world-renowned performer. The misunderstandings and troubles of mistaken identity will keep audiences laughing in this delightful comedy.

Hershey Area Playhouse Theatre Academy Announces Acting Classes for Spring 2015

HERSHEY, Pa., March 7, 2015 – Taught by instructors with experience in both theatre and education, Hershey Area Playhouse Theatre Academy announces its acting classes for students in grades K-12 in a six-week spring session. This year’s spring session begins on March 14, 2015 and runs through April 25, 2015.

Auditions for Lend Me A Tenor

HERSHEY, Pa., Feb. 11, 2015 – Hershey Area Playhouse is holding auditions for its upcoming production of the wacky comedy, Lend Me A Tenor, on Sunday, Feb. 22 and Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. Callbacks, if needed, will be Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m.
